Bliss Balls

1 cup raw almonds (soaked overnight, then drained & rinsed)

10 -15 pitted medjool dates (you can use regular baking dates, soak in hot water for 15 mins then drain)

1 cup desiccated coconut

1/2 cup gojo berries (soak 15mins/ or until plump then drain) OPTIONAL

1/4 cup cacao powder

3 Tbs Coconut oil

pinch of salt

Put raw almonds in food processor, blast until mixed well and finely chopped, then add the rest of the ingredients except the dates and blast again. Add the dates 1-2 at a time until the mixture starts sticking together.

Press together to make balls and roll in coconut.

Place in fridge for 1/2 hour to set. Keep in airtight container in the fridge.

Helpful hint: Have wet hands when you make the balls up.

You can substitute almonds for any other nuts of your choice.

Experiment with other dried fruit, if you do this you might need to reduce the number of dates and adjust to your taste.
